Kimberly Billetta
Administrative Assistant

Kimberly Billetta joined RHI in 2022, but her journey with the organization began months earlier. While attending a community event in Port Richey Florida, she saw a yellow flyer for RHI launch on a bulletin board and immediately knew she wanted to be a part of this work.

Mindful of the continuing affliction of institutional and structural racism as well as the daily realities of different forms of bias, prejudice, and bigotry in the society in which she grew and live, she swiftly became a dedicated volunteer, pledging within her means, to actively work to support public policy solutions that prominently, openly, and enthusiastically promote racial equity in all aspects of human affairs; and to actively support and devote her time to RHI, as well as other platforms working to dismantle racism and promote healing and reconciliation.

For the last nine months, Kimberly has been at the forefront of RHI’s attitudinal inoculation findings, and grassroots deradicalization trials, encouraging those with extreme and violent racist ideologies, especially young people to adopt more moderate views.

Cognizance of the fact that domestic terrorism cases are on the rise and racially motivated extremists are the biggest piece of that group, particularly those with white supremacist ideologies, Kimberly brings firsthand experience of how best to prevent, reverse, or neutralize the threat of radicalization in our communities. She is a typical example of RHI’s goal of empowering young people by giving them a seat at decision-making table.
