Dr Emmanuel Neba-Fuh
Board Chair

Dr Emmanuel Neba-Fuh is an unwavering advocate of human rights with more than 20 years of strategic management and leadership experience spanning a huge array of subjects including history, politics, philosophy, and international relations.

He has been involved with Racial Healing International since its inception, swooping in and pioneering the tricky work of historical consultant that culminated with a 700-page legendary classic book - “Triumph of Racism: The History of White Supremacy in Africa & How Shithole Entered the U.S Presidential Lexicon,” which now lie in the shelves of the U.S. Library of Congress.

Dr Neba-Fuh’s research, a comprehensive chronological compilation of the brutal and nefarious extermination of millions of African men, women, and children dating over 400 years, is a riveting realism that does not only make everyone live and breathe colored folks’ pain but see the urgent need for racial healing.

He joined RHI from Maryland base DV Consult Inc., where, as President of Community Engagement and Impact, he developed the organization’s overarching strategic vision and oversaw the management of its charitable programming. He also offered advice and expertise to the company, improving its business performance in terms of operations, profitability, management, structure, and strategy.

Prior to that, Dr Neba-Fuh served as Permanent Representative of the African Parliamentary Alliance for United Nations Reforms in Geneva – Switzerland, where he played a pivotal role in safeguarding human rights. He was also Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Ambassador for Peace, a title presented by UPF in recognition of his peacemaking merits in championing the building of peaceful and inclusive societies and serving humankind for the sake of universal well-being.

Earlier in his career, he was Amnesty International (UK Section) speaker for schools, colleges, and universities. At the 2004 Amnesty AGM in Manchester, he delivered a successful-far-reaching Arms Trade Motion which enormously contributed to Amnesty International’s role in championing the first ever United Nations Global Arms Trade Treaty. In 2008, he led a barefoot campaign to 10 Downing Street London, delivering a petition to the British government and raising huge public awareness of the plight of refugees. This was followed by the 2011 “Big Society Initiative for Africa” conference which he organized in the House of Commons (UK Parliament), bringing together influential UK-based African Diplomats, NGO representatives, members of the African Diaspora and senior UK policy and decision-makers, including government ministers to support forcibly displaced children in Africa.

A multi-award-winning refugee rights campaigner who has scooped one of the highest accolades in Britain, Dr Neba-Fuh has travelled widely, often campaigning for human rights with passion, humanity, and cogency. He holds a Diploma in Management from Cambridge Tutorial College, BA (Hons) in Applied Community Work and Social Care from the University of Derby, MA, and PhD in Church History from Newburgh Theological College Indiana, and is currently a Fellow in the Religion, Conflict and Peace program at the University of Harvard.
